With reference to Your Excellency's despatch No.23/284/2, of April 17th last, I have the honour to enclose herewith copies of correspondence exchanged with His Kroellency the Governor of Macao regarding the export of opium from that colony to Australia. The two samples referred to in the last paragraph of the Governor of Macao's despatch are being forwarded under separate cover.
